Welcome Jackson Donald!!!!!

Over the past year we have looked for new ways to reach our clients needs and we have found one of those solutions. The continual growth of our company (which is all thanks in part to you are clients) has brought us to a point where we need growth inside of the company as well. Through careful consideration and planning we would like to welcome, Jackson Donald to the Revival House family. Jackson will be over the new photography section of Revival House. He will always on occasion help us on shoots for films. Head on over to the photo page and check some of his amazing work. We know without a doubt he will be a great fit to the team and will compliment our film style. Hear what Jackson had to say about joining the company below.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

We have been working really hard to close out the year. 2014 brought many new friends and we are extremely grateful for all the business we have received. As we head into the new year we look forward to what it will bring. We have exciting new to be released soon. We are constantly working hard on completing projects and hope to have them out to all of our customers ASAP. 

Every blessing is from the Lord. We would not exist if it wasn't for His goodness towards us. While it's easy to contribute the success of the company thus far to ourselves we simply cannot go without acknowledging that He is the reason for our success. His grace is good and His hand is mighty. 

We know a few of you are waiting on your packages. We are trying to get them out as quick as we can. Revival House offices will be closed until 1/2/15. So please don't fret if you have messaged or called us recently and we haven't replied. We will get back with you as soon as we return. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

COLIN + MACKENZIE

Colin and Mackenzie’s wedding was an awesome new experience for us. We went to Memphis, and shot at the venue where the whole wedding day was taking place. The place was beautiful. It was a very large and well-kept golf course out in the country. The girls were getting ready in a log cabin, and the guys were getting ready in the golfing center. As we went all throughout the course, we were able to ride a golf cart to follow the bride and groom around for pictures (and for us, film). The setting was beautiful, and were able to capture amazing shots for the film.

The ceremony was outdoors, and the temperature couldn’t have been better. It was truly one of my favorite experiences filming. The reception had a band from Nashville, TN playing and they were very talented. They played upbeat covers that had everyone dancing. Live music at wedding receptions is always a special treat. Overall we totally enjoyed the experience in Memphis, and we are so thankful that Colin and Mackenzie had us come out to shoot their special wedding day. We hope that the film was able to project just how great the day was. Congrats Colin and Mackenzie!

FALL CLEANING

Hello Everyone,

Fall is upon us all. Over the past few months we have been extremely busy. We are very grateful for all the business we have received and we can't wait to get these projects in the hands of our clients. Over the past few weeks we have been spending some time reorganizing and cleaning up our files and servers. We are making room and staying organized so we can better serve you. We ask for patience as we are constantly working on a project and we will get to yours as soon as we can. With this in mind, you can always check out our FAQ section on our website if you need some answers. We hope you guys are enjoying the change in the weather and we look forward to making memories with you. 

YU-TANG + KYNDAL

We were honored to have the opportunity to film the wedding day of Yu-Tang and Kendal Cheng. The wedding took place in Birmingham, Alabama at an old industrial landmark known as the Sloss Furnace. This place was cool. The atmosphere was a one of a kind experience, and it is almost impossible to describe. This definitely was one of the most interesting venues we have ever filmed at, and I’m so glad we were given the opportunity. During some down time, me and Chandler explored the place for a little bit, and it was awesome. We went underground through some tunnels, up ladders onto towers, and into old run down rooms. You need to go there to explore if you’ve never been.

Yu-Tang and Kendal were great people to work with. They had a wonderful attitude about everything, and let us do our thing to get the shots we needed. Another great experience was being able to witness Kendal’s father officiate the ceremony. That must have been really special for the bride and groom. We love good ceremonies. We see a lot, and there is just nothing like a good, solid, ceremony to witness. That’s one of my favorite parts about this job. All in all, the wedding day was incredible for us. We loved the unique location, and the agreeable clients. This trip made for great film shots and a great Saturday spent filming out of town.

JOSEPH + HOLLY

On very few occasions due we get to travel to other states to film weddings, however when we do it is a treat. We love to travel and to get a change of scenery. This lovely wedding was shot in Butler, GA. It was on a weekend when the weather was nice and it made for a beautiful film. It does also help to add that the people getting hitched were beautiful people as well. These factors combined make for a truly great film. Joseph is film guy himself and gave us as much freedom as we needed to get the shots. Holly is an admirer of Joseph(obviously) and film so this allowed us to really get creative. The wedding was shot on Taylor County Campgrounds and the reception followed at Bethel Congregational Methodist Church. 

Thank you Joseph + Holly for allowing us to take part in your special day. I hope the film helps you to remember what made the day special. Cherish every moment together.

STEPHEN + BETHANY

Hello everyone! We’ve been busy as usual here at Revival House this week. We’ve got wedding after wedding on deck, and we are so thankful to have this consistent business. This week we posted Stephen and Bethany Leininger’s film. Their wedding ceremony took place at Madison United Methodist Church in Madison, Mississippi, and the reception following took place at Duling Hall in Fondren, Mississippi. We really enjoyed shooting this wedding because it was a new experience for us. This was a morning wedding, so we arrived early and shot throughout the morning. The reception was brunch, and was very refreshing because it was a new experience for us. MUMC and Duling Hall both had beautiful stained glass windows which made for great shots in the film. The men wore cotton boutonnieres which made for an authentic Southern Mississippi wedding.

We are so thankful that Stephen and Bethany invited us to shoot their special wedding day. It was a refreshing and wonderful experience for us, and we really enjoyed putting the film together. We hope that we can have many more weddings to shoot in these aesthetically beautiful locations in the future. DUSTIN + SARA

Hello all you lovely people out there. This past week has been filled with lots of craziness. We went to shoot a wedding in the Atlanta, GA area. We changed up our office. Cameron had to move to a new house. All in all it was a pretty hectic weekend. By the way, we hope everyone had a great Labor Day. 

Today on our blog we would like to feature Dustin + Sara. This wedding was in Clinton, MS on July 18th, 2014. The wedding was held at First Baptist Church Clinton which resides right next to Mississippi College. The ceremony was beautiful and the fact that the old sanctuary is still intact made for some great shots. The reception was to follow at Union Station in downtown Jackson, MS. This location is always interesting to shoot. The fact that it is a train station makes it that much more interesting. The day ran fairly smooth without any problems and it was great wedding to add to the books. 

We want to thank Dustin + Sara for including us in their big day and hope you two have a lovely life together. As we close out the first week in September we hope to have another video up soon. Thanks to everyone who allows us to do what we love and to make memories with you. You are always welcome in our house.

JOHN + ALLISON

We had the wonderful privilege to shoot the Housholder wedding in early July. We had to make a trek up to Nashville, TN to film this wedding but it was worth the experience. In fact, we don't mind road trips we look forward to them.

The wedding was held at Houston Station(http://www.houstonstationnashville.com). This was a very beautiful venue with rustic decor. It was large enough for a semi big gathering but small enough to create a very cozy atmosphere. The wedding was well planned and organized. I recommend anyone in this area to consider the venue for your wedding, especially if your a looking for that rustic feel.

We had no idea that when we started this company one year ago it would progress to where it currently is today. Our vision of telling stories through film has never been more realized and it is all possible because of our clients.
